How Does it Work?

  • Step 4: Send it anywhere in the world. We’ll print it and send it for you.
What different types of cards do you offer?
We offer many different types of cards including:
  • Greeting Cards for every occasion
  • Photo Cards using your own photos
  • Corporate Cards to stay in touch with business associates and customers
  • Custom Designed Cards
  • Invitations for parties, events, weddings, graduations, or any occasion
  • Announcements for important events including weddings and graduations
  • Postcards for any occasion
What is the format and paper quality of your cards?
Folded Cards. You can select from a 5x7” portrait (card stands upright and folds from right to left) or landscape (card stands on its bottom and folds from bottom to top). In the 5x7” folded cards you can also add a gift card from one of our favored retailers.
Post Cards. Post cards are also 5”x 7” either in portrait or landscape format and can either be custom, where you supply the picture, or one available from our collection of images.
All cards are printed on 90-110 pound cover stock paper so your gift cards will be every bit the quality of a card you purchase in a store or gift shop. Envelopes are also printed on high quality stock.
What about mailing?
You have two options for mailing your cards:
First, you can have us mail them to you. If you choose this option, you can leave your envelopes blank, or you can customize them any way you’d like, mail them to you, and you can mail them to your recipients.
Second, you can have us mail all your cards directly to your recipients. Under this option we can mail them right away (next business day), or you can schedule a date in the future on which you’d like us to send them to your recipients.
*With either option, we can’t ship FedEx Overnight, 2nd day or 3rd day to international destinations, P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO addresses, U.S. Protectorates including Guam and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Boxed card delivery is available Monday-Friday. Saturday delivery is not included under our standard shipping policies or prices, but can be purchased upon request.
How long does it take to get my cards in the mail?
It only takes a few minutes to create a card, personalize it, and order it. InsideOutz will have your order to the post office the next business day. The location of the recipient and the method of shipping will also affect the delivery time. If the recipient lives far away and you’ve selected standard U.S.P.S. delivery, it usually takes 4-7 business days to arrive. Purchase overnight delivery for a quicker arrival. All orders for next day delivery must be ordered by 5:00 p.m. M.S.T. Monday-Friday. During unusually busy times, such as during the holiday season, it can take longer.
Can I write my own text on each card?
Yes, you can create and personalize the card any way you’d like. On cards that are not pre-written, you can even personalize the front of the card. Other texts can be added to the front inside cover, the back inside cover, and the back of the card. If you’re having trouble finding the right words to say, just click on our “Help you say it” link for some ideas.
Can I upload a photo into a card I’m personalizing?
Yes, you can upload a photo and place it anywhere inside the card you’d like—even on the back cover. However on cards that are pre-written you cannot place a photo over the top of the text.
If I’m mailing out cards to many recipients in the same order, can I personalize each card in a different way?
Certainly. Whether you’re sending one card with the same personal message to multiple recipients (such as a card to business associates), or sending a different card to each recipient (such as to your friends), our easy to use process will guide you through every step of the way.
Can I create a mailing list of people to mail cards to?
Yes, you can both manually load names and addresses into your address book and you can automatically upload your contact database such as Outlook or Palm. Then you can create mailing lists of clients, friends, family, or any other category.
Can I select from different fonts and colors?
Yes. You can choose from a wide variety of fonts and colors. View all font and color options in the Personalize section.
Can I upload my own signature and insert it into a card?
You sure can. Uploading your signature adds that personal touch to each and every card you send. And it’s so easy! Upload it once, use it forever. Just follow our step by step instructions in the Personalize section and you’ll be amazed at the quality.
What if I start personalizing a card and can’t finish?
That’s alright. Any time you can’t finish personalizing a card, or for some reason get disconnected from our web site, the system will save your work for you in your shopping cart. Simply get back into your account and pick up right where you left off.
How will I know the status of my order?
Each of our cards are sent out the next business day, unless you’ve scheduled a card for delivery in the future. When your card is put in the mail, an email will be sent notifying you. If you have used an overnight delivery method, the email will contain the tracking number so you can monitor the progress of your delivery.
What if I have 100 names of friends and relatives I want to add to my Address Book. Do I have to enter each one of them by hand?
No. If those names are on your computer in contact management software such as Outlook, Palm, etc., we can upload them for you and place them into your address book. To see how easy it is, visit our Instructions on How to Upload Your Address Book. IMPORTANT: InsideOutz doesn’t check your Address Book for accuracy so please check the accuracy of your recipients’ mailing addresses. We print exactly what you enter, so make sure it’s right.
What if I don’t know the zip code for one of my addresses?
You can go to www.zipcode.com, or one of several other helps available to find the zip code. If you don’t have the correct zip code on a mailing address, the post office could be delayed in delivering your cards to your recipients.
What is your refund policy?
It’s pretty easy. Your satisfaction is always guaranteed. If there is any problem or defect with any card you purchase from us, we will gladly provide you with a credit toward a future purchase. But there are certain instances for which we cannot offer refunds. They are for cards or postcards that are damaged in shipping or by mailing machines, cards that contain spelling, punctuation, or other text errors, or for photo cards that did not meet our pixel requirements for printing.
Do you keep a record of cards I’ve purchased?
Yes. Often people like to use the same card for other recipients. For this reason we keep a history of your transactions. You can access it from your Account page. Once you’ve found the card you were looking for, you can edit it and send it to anyone you’d like.
What’s the minimum order I can place?
The minimum order is one card. There are no other hidden or additional fees if you only order one card, so you can order with complete confidence knowing that no matter what your greeting card needs are, we’ll be here to meet them.
